Practical Skills

In our play, to get the best emotions and body languages for our characters, we done a background story for each character to explore its feelings and know how it feels to be bullied and feel depressed and not being wanted by anyone. We done this by Joseph play three different characters 'Dad, Bully (Jonah), and a person that just wants you for their needs'.

While doing a background for each character, it gave us an idea of how it feels to be bullied and being beaten up by your dad and 'friends'. While doing my scene, Joseph was acting as Jonah the bully, and as I was walking forward in school, he came and barged me and I happened to almost drop on the floor. Even though he barged me, I still apologized to him so that he don't start a fight or punch me. As I walked off to come to my house, Joseph turned into my dad and had a bottle in his hand. When I walked in, he started shouting at me straight away, and I tried to act as if nothing had happened, but then he still slapped and punched me for no reason. I then had to ran upstairs and I started crying.

This gave me an idea of how it feels to be bullied and feel depressed. I also had researched to how different people are feeling when they are depressed where I have two people share their stories in my blog named 'RESEARCH' labeled 12.
